Let’s face it, there are a lot of plant-based and vegan recipe websites out there, and some of them are great. But damn, a lot of them seem to cater to people who have 6 hours to cook dinner every day, live next door to a Whole Foods (and can afford to shop there every day), and don’t have to convince children to eat these meals. But hell, they take really nice pictures of their tiny dishes and pristine kitchens.

Well, guess what. I live in the real world, and I bet you do too. So it’s a struggle to find whole food, plant-based, oil-free (or limited oil) recipes that are realistic in price, ingredients, and effort, and that appeal to the whole family. So that’s where KevCooksPlants and its readers (that’s you) come in.
